Following judging, ribbons adorn the flowers entered in the Blue Ribbon Exhibit Hall. Categories for entries range widely from baked goods to lego creations, leatherwork to photography and more.

Visiting from Augusta, Maine, Joe Longtin admires the quilts displayed in the Exhibit Hall on July 27. “That work over there is unbelievable,” Longtin said about the skillfully crafted pieces.

4-H runs in the family for Justin Castagno. It’s Castagno’s ninth year in 4-H, but his family has been participating for the last two decades. Castagno shows his 230-pound Hamp Cross named Gunter on July 28 at the pig showcase.

Skylar Hare shows off her Longhorn “Spade,” trying to catch the eye of a buyer. Spade went to the highest bidder for $10/lb. Heritage Arena filled with animals and the auction tent filled with bidders as 4-H members showed their livestock.

From best cookies to team roping to pie eating, Teton County came out in droves to compete for ribbons at the fair. Some came from as far away as Kentucky and Wisconsin (see the horse pulls). Some kids just kept showing up again and again. (See English horse show results.)

We also covered a fan favorite for this week’s section — food! See how your experience compared.
